Un Si Grand Soleil in advance: Friday episode summary, May 20, 2022 [SPOILERS]

After a fire breaks out in Senso kitchens, Virgil fights the fire to help any victim trapped inside. But he only manages to put himself in danger and Alex tries to help him. Both firefighters were rescued from the fire and came out healthy.

The next day Ellis comes to inspect the ruins and interrogate two partners to find out if the fire could have a criminal origin. He asks them if anyone could have wanted to go back to the club, causing Virgil to laugh. He explains to the police the targeted harassment campaign, the victims of which they have been in the networks for several days.

To make a statement to the police department at Virgil’s invitation, Ellis is surprised that they have not filed a complaint before because of the reports, as the two events may have a connection. Virgil, less affected by the material damage, simply feels relieved that he is not a victim: the fire has awakened painful memories in him.

Meanwhile, Johanna asks Sabine about her meeting the day before, during their sports session. He saw his friend in good company and seemed to be having a good time. Sabine tells that this man was called Maxime and he owns a network of sports clubs. Johanna laughs at him by offering to change his sports subscription and go and join his club to meet him again.

For his part, Maxime finds Dimitri concerned about Senso as a partner, fearing that this incident, which occurred just weeks after its opening, could seriously damage his future. On the other hand, his friend is quite cheerful: he tells her that he spent the evening with a charming woman he wants to see, though he does not know that it is Dimitri’s ex-boyfriend …

As police investigate a drug trafficking suspect in Mr Vernoyl’s business, after a ton of cannabis was found hidden in one of his trucks, Akim and Alex Aurore interrogate Verno to find out that his father bought the company car last year. That his payment does not figure in the company’s accounts. In the interrogation room Vernoy tries to justify himself: he paid cash after the arrest of the cashier. For Alex, this is confirmed by the testimony of his assistant, who saw a large envelope of banknotes in his office.

After her statements were attacked with a firearm, Carol Martinez has officially turned to witness protection status and will have to hide for several weeks until her attacker is identified.

Returning to prison, Vernoy will meet again with his fellow prisoner Moro. The dealer then asks him if he has considered his offer to ally with him in prison to protect his back. Vernoy is silent.

At the police station, Florent argues his client’s reason for Becker to drop the charges against him, and that his company, which was suspended during the investigation, will resume now that Judge Alfand has allowed the return of their computer equipment.
