In 1999, casting began for the film, adapted from J.K. From Rowling’s novel: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. For this film, which will become – as we know it today – a franchise with worldwide success with seven feature films that will succeed it, the main goal is to find three children who will play the crucial roles of Harry, Hermione and Ron.
For Daniel Radcliffe, the story begins one evening when he goes to a play with his father. A few lines from Future Harry happens to be the film’s producer, David Heyman, who notices the little boy, fascinated by what he’s about to set free.
He convinces his father to pass the auditions, and it is the director Chris Columbus, who has already seen Daniel Radcliffe in the TV movie David Copperfield, who will give him the role, which also amazes him with his intelligence and wisdom.
Emma Watson already had some experience in the theater and it was her teacher who connected her with a casting agent for the film. The confidence she showed during the eight auditions she had to go through ultimately allowed her to be cast as Hermione out of 35,000 other candidates.
As for Rupert Grint, it was his talent as a young rapper that allowed him to make the difference and complete the Magic Trio. Indeed, it was because he sent a video explaining his motivation for the role by rapping that he was able to get the attention of the producers.
However, with this new quiz, we are not going to play the Harry Potter world, but the rest of the actors’ careers, trying to guess which of these three will answer these six characters.
