The government of the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva removed Thursday 6, seven companies from the National Privatization Program (PND) and three from the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI). Among the companies removed are the Mail and the Brazilian Communication Society (EBC).
The measure was published in an extra edition of official diary of the Union (DOU). As per Ministry of Communicationsthe action aims to strengthen the role of state enterprises in the provision of citizenship and in the expansion of investments.
