while a Star Wars The event may not have looked like the place you’d expect to see a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny heralded, it’s at least in the Lucasfilm family (and director James Mangold is heading to that galaxy far, far away once he’s done steering the latest Indy adventure). New footage from the film, marked by a breathtaking mix of iconic songs by the Rolling Stones and John Williams’ “Sympathy For The Devil,” sheds light on the story of the film – Indy in particular. (Harrison Ford) retiring to the 1960s and leaving his adventurous days behind him, finds himself brought back for another gig when one of the artifacts he unearthed in the past (the titular Dial) returns to his life as in the spotlight of an invisible Nazi. plotting to right the wrongs of the past and secure the power of his forces.
We also learn that Jones’ goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) has her own agenda: She’s willing to sell the device down to half an inch and sell it to the highest bidder.

Starring Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones and Boyd Holbrook also in the cast, the quadrant of destiny will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18 before its theatrical release on June 30.
