American surfer records BO against Brazilian who attacked her in Bali

Sara Taylor was attacked by João Paulo Azevedo on the beach

Surfer Sara Taylor attacked by Brazilian João Paulo Azevedo filed a police report after the incident. On the “G1” portal, the North American reported the case, which took place this week, in Bali, Indonesia, and asked Espírito Santo for punishment.

– I was surfing, it was full, and I saw some guys fighting. It happens sometimes in surfing, but the wave came and I was in the right place. This guy intentionally bumped into me, it wasn’t an accident. He came towards me, as if he wanted to hit me. I pushed him out of my way,” she commented.

– He was yelling something that was their thing, but I asked, ‘Were you there?’ And he said ‘No, he was my friend’. I didn’t want to fight, I just wanted to go surfing, so I splashed water in his face, like to stop him, like, why are you yelling at me? And I kept swimming and that’s when he hit me. (…) I wanted to register (BO) so that he stops doing this because it seems to be out of control. I want them to pay for what they did – he corrected.

In addition to the assault in the water, Sara was also attacked in the sand. The woman also claimed that other people were close to the cafeteria and did nothing to help. On social media, the Brazilian has published an apology video.
