Indiana Jones 5: Harrison Ford Awaits Retirement in Spectacular Trailer

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull Fifteen years after the kingdom, the famous archaeologist and adventurer played by Harrison Ford returns for the fifth installment: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

The lucky ones will have the opportunity to discover the new film Indiana Jones on the Croisette, as it will be screened in advance and exclusively at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18. And other privileged people got a taste of the new trailer for James Mangold’s feature film (Logan, Le Mans 66) during the Star Wars Celebration Lucasfilm panel.

The fifth installment of Indiana Jones’ adventures promises a clever mix of action, humor… and technology! Indeed, Harrison Ford has been digitally rejuvenated for the opening sequence of Indiana Jones 5, which will take place alongside the first three films in the saga envisioned by Steven Spielberg. And the result, which seems to have improved since the previous trailer, is already impressive.

A second youth for Indy

The rest of the film takes us to 1969, in the midst of the Cold War. A famous American archaeologist and adventurer opposes the space race for a very specific reason: because the United States recruited ex-Nazis to defeat the Soviet Union in this competition.

The rest of the cast includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge as her goddaughter Helena, Mads Mikkelsen playing former nemesis Jürgen Waller, as well as John Rhys-Davies, Boyd Holbrook, Antonio Banderas, Thomas Kretschmann, Shawnette Renee Wilson and Toby Jones.

Actors you’ll see on the steps of Cannes on May 18 with James Mangold (and the producers) Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, surprise guests for a tribute to Harrison Ford?). Then in French cinemas on June 28.
