Finish clapping for all the lights! Almost a week after airing the last episode of the musical series, TF1 has decided not to proceed with this ambitious project.
An outlet confirmed that it will not be giving the series a Season 2, clarifying that it was a completed order of 90 episodes and that it had never confirmed that there would be a sequel.
One thing is for sure, the bad news has not only hurt the fans but also the actors who have taken to social media to react. Joy Esther, who played Victoria, revealed on Instagram: “Everything ends here for the light. How lucky we are to experience this adventure. We know each other now (…) Thanks to everyone who followed the series!”
“I’d rather be glad this adventure existed”
For his part, Alex Dux (Julian) also took the time to say: “Today we learned that Everything for Light wasn’t going to have 2 seasons. 8 months ago I was still selling shirts from an office across Europe, so rather than being sad, I’d rather be happy that this adventure existed and that it opened up other opportunities for me.”
“Thanks to everyone who created this series, those who believed in me and gave me a chance, I will be grateful for their lives.” At the same time, Clement Massey (Eden) also spoke: “This is the end of Tout pour la Lumière. Thank you all for following this crazy adventure, I read your messages and your feedback every time and it makes me so excited.”
“This is a period of my life that I will forever see in my heart” concludes the actor. In addition, Marie Alexander also took the time to send her subscribers: “Goodbye Elise Verzerol, I’m proud of the journey we’ve traveled together, grown together and touched so many hearts, it’s an honor to be able to help so many people and to have them recognize themselves in you. Thank you for your love!”
After 7 years in Brazil, it gave me the opportunity to return to my roots.
Finally, Yara Chari thanked the fans:Although there will unfortunately not be a second season, I cherish every moment of this experience. This series has a special place for me. It allowed me to return to my roots after 7 years in Brazil (…) I am grateful for the simple fact that this role gave me the opportunity to return to France.”
Messages that should touch the hearts of fans of the series! In the meantime, you can view or preview All for light On the TF1+ platform and streaming on Netflix!
