Joe Nixon of the Cincinnati Bengals is accused of threatening a woman with a gun in the United States


Police say the NFL player was involved in the case that happened in late January

Last Saturday (8), the US police charged Joe Nixonplayer of Cincinnati Bengals from the nflof threatening a woman with a firearm. According to the case report, the athlete shouted several threats at the time on January 21, 2023.




According to the testimonies of people present at the time of the accident, Joe Nixon threatened the woman with phrases such as “they should blow your face off, I should shoot you. The police can’t catch me”.

“To preserve a fair and impartial judicial process for the parties involved, no investigation details or evidence will be released outside of the official judicial process,” the Cincinnati Police Department said in a statement on the Nixon case this weekend.

Nixon is a repeat offender

It is not the first case of violence involving Joe Nixon. Prior to this charge in 2014, the player was charged with misdemeanor assault and was suspended for one season while playing college football.

Because of this case, Nixon was on probation for a year, did 100 hours of community work, and had to undergo behavior counseling.
