To everyone’s surprise, a few days ago, the American comedian made an incredible announcement on his Instagram account, announcing that he had just been selected to interpret … Mickey Mouse, the famous mascot of the Disney studios.
“I am proud to announce that I will be the main voice in the upcoming film adaptation of Disney’s Mickey Mouse. Get ready for the big screen movie in 2025!”, He declared so.
While some fans reacted strongly when they read the news, others immediately took note of the date the message was posted: Saturday, April 1.
As one might suspect, this fake announcement was therefore nothing more or less than a prank by Chris Pratt, aimed at anyone who was skeptical or even leery when his role in Super Mario Bros. was announced in September 2021.
