Jason Statham, The Rock, Vin Diesel… Are bald people always the rage?

Jason Statham in Operation Fortune: Ruse of War

Jason Statham is known not for his career in musicals, but for his fiery temper and hardened steel knuckles. More than twenty years after the success of the iconic Snatch: You Aim or Fight, it finds Guy Ritchie (Gentlemen, Sherlock Holmes) for the new action film, always more nervous.

Orson Fortune, an MI6 agent, is recruited by an international alliance to prevent the marketing of a particularly dangerous new weapon. He must team up with a high-tech CIA expert (Aubrey Plaza of Parks And Recreation) and travel the world to track down wealthy arms dealer Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant).

Fans will be pleased to know that An Angry Man, another collaboration between Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie, is also available on Prime Video.

Dwayne Johnson in Rampage

Dwayne Johnson is already the hallmark of action, fighting and testosterone filled movies… but what if you add a whole bunch of giant animals?

Adapted from the 1986 arcade game, Rampage tells the story of the encounter between primatologist David Okoye and a gorilla with amazing intelligence. The target of a passionate scientist is Georgia, the victim of a catastrophic genetic experiment that transforms her into an uncontrollable monster.

When other beasts also turn into rabid predators across the country, destroying everything in their path, Okoye does his best to create an antidote.

Vin Diesel in Riddick

Riddick was exiled to a desert planet that had been abandoned by humans years ago. The only way to escape this hostile place is to activate the emergency beacon. But there’s always a bounty on top of it, and rather than relief, it’s the mercenaries who then rush to the dispensary to pocket the bounty on the most dangerous outlaw the world has ever seen.

Directed by David Toohey (creator of the previous Riddick films) and Vin Diesel in better form than ever, this saga expands the codes of badass action movies into the space world to offer them a new dimension.

Mark Strong in the low winter sun

Less Nanardesque, but just as brutal, the Low Winter Sun series immerses you in Frank Agnew’s quest for revenge (Kingsman’s Mark Strong, Sherlock Holmes and Shazam).

In revenge, a Detroit police inspector crosses the line and kills one of his colleagues. Disguised as suicide, the murder comes back to haunt him very quickly. He did not know that the victim was being watched by the police. And to the cake, he discovers that his accomplice in crime has hidden many things from him…

Stanley Tucci at The Citadel (from April 28)

In the Hunger Games and Transformers sagas, but also in The Devil Wears Prada, Stanley Tucci will appear in the Citadel series from April 28.

He portrays Bernard Orlick, a member of the former spy agency Citadel, who was infiltrated and destroyed by the powerful Manticore syndicate. Faced with the rise of this dangerous network, Bernard will have no choice but to find his former colleagues to stop the threat. Her greatest hope is the help of Mason (Richard Madden) and Nadia (Priyanka Chopra Jonas).
