The EA Play service has always been a useful tool for those on a budget or who simply don’t want to pay full price, which today is around R$400! – for a football match or other sports title. When it started being offered alongside the Game Pass UltimateMicrosoft’s subscription package just got even better value.

It’s not uncommon for gamers to wait for EA games to hit the service, even if it takes nearly a year. In addition to sports games, such as FIFA, Madden and the NHL, there are also great RPGs such as Dragon Age Inquisition, the Mass Effect trilogy and also racing games (Need for Speed, F1, Dirt) and action games, such as the excellent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

So, the question remains: when will FIFA 23 arrive in the EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate catalogs? The trial version is already included in the service and allows you to play FIFA 23 for 10 hours. The progress made in the trial is saved and transferred to the full version if the player decides to purchase the game.

It has not yet been announced when FIFA 23 will arrive on EA Play, but the previous two games have entered the catalog at different times: FIFA 21 arrived on EA Play in April 2021, six months after its release. FIFA 22, however, took a little longer and only entered the catalog in June of last year, eight months after its original launch.

Given that we are already in April and EA has not yet announced anything about the arrival of FIFA 23 on EA Play, it is likely that the football game will only enter the subscription service catalog in May or June, as happened with FIFA 22 Recall, the next football game from the American manufacturer, EA Sports FC, will be unveiled at an event in July.

Is it worth the wait?

Will FIFA end? Understand the future of soccer games:

When FIFA 23 arrives on EA Play and thus Game Pass Ultimate, subscribers will be able to enjoy the full game, including all offline modes and the challenging Ultimate Team. Online modes will also be available, as well as the World Cup mode, which arrived in the game in December last year, during the Qatar Cup.

If you haven’t bought FIFA 23 yet, it’s unlikely you’re a gamer who wants to compete in online leagues or even play the latest version of Ultimate Team on a regular basis. So, for those who want to have fun with friends in casual matches, create their own athlete or manager and progress in Career mode or even play in Volta’s stunt matches – or just don’t want to pay full price in game – wait a few more months to play FIFA 23 is really worth it.

FIFA 23 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
