Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Thursday, April 13, 2023 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Dimitri asks Becker for a favor

Manu did not come home all night. Excited Eva tries to approach him, but to no avail. He then leaves her a message on his answering machine asking her to call him while telling him how much she loves him.

On the other hand, Manu is walking the streets of the city when he receives a message from Eva. However, he refuses to listen to her.

Later, Manu goes to the police station and informs Commissioner Becker that he is withdrawing from the investigation because his companion knew Aline Delclos. He also explains to her that Eve created a temp agency and that she was supposed to test the victim’s loyalty. After thanking the policeman for the warning, Commissioner Becker decides to put Alex on the case.

Eva and Dimitri are going to testify. During the discussion, Dimitri admits that he succumbed to the temptation and is obliged to provide us with all the details of his betrayal. Uncomfortable, Sabine’s companion asks if this information can be kept confidential. Unfortunately, Alex informs him that it will definitely appear in the minutes. So Becker will be informed.

Just then Dimitri goes to his stepfather’s office and then sheepishly points out that he lied to Sabine. Since the latter does not know, he asks to respect the secrecy of the instruction to keep his pair.

Not far away, Aya and Alex investigate. While the police wonder if Dimitri killed Aline to stop her from talking, Alex finds it strange that the dead man’s husband never mentioned the seduction agency. According to him, this is not a detail that is forgotten when a wife is found drowned in a river, unless it has something to do with her death. So Alex is going to call Thibault as soon as he arrives in France.

At nightfall, Manu has a drink with Alex. The cop’s ability to confide in Eva’s sentimental failure. When Alex tries to figure out if he can handle the ordeal, Manu replies that he’s not sure. Indeed, he feels betrayed and can no longer trust his beloved woman.

Eva rests her head on Virgil’s shoulder. Convinced that they will eventually meet again, Virgil advises her to spend some time with Manu. However, Eva is afraid that he will never forgive her.

CHLOE HELP MARK

Mark continues to spend his evenings spying on Beaufort, but has yet to find anything of interest. As he is about to call off the search, Louis reminds his father that Beaufort and his accomplice are shadows. Mark then agrees to continue the investigation until the end of the week.

Meanwhile, Chloe overhears Robin and Louis talking. This is how the clerk discovers that Marc is hiding every night with Beaufort. Without waiting, he calls her and tells her that she is risking a lot by keeping watch with Beaufort. Especially seeing a father trying to protect his son, he orders him to be careful. Mark thanks him for the encouragement.

At the end of the day, Chloe is about to leave court when she gets a call from Robin, who wants to spend the evening with Louis, as his father is going back to hide with Beaufort. The latter accepts then decides to join Mark for the night. And Chloe didn’t come empty-handed as she brought coffee and a few snacks to pass the time. In the evening, Chloe joins the game and takes her binoculars to spy on Beaufort’s property.

Lauryn learns that Evan has a new professional project

Evan reminds his wife that he is on call tonight. A disappointment for Chloe, who feels her husband has been too busy lately with his work and the clinic project. However, Dr. Cresson relativizes and claims that they will catch up once this busy period is over.

At the hospital, Evan tells Allen how happy he is that Elizabeth is serious about the private clinic project. A discussion not lost on Lauryn, who later asks the doctor if she plans to leave the hospital. As Evan affirms her, Lauryn replies that she enjoys working with him and goes so far as to tell him that she admires him.
