The announcement of the series didn’t exactly come as a surprise. A recent leak has already hinted at a deal between Warner Bros. Discovery and author JK Rowling. Though Rowling has been heavily criticized for offensive comments about the trans community, Rowling is set to serve as executive producer on the show.
