Final poster, exclusively, of ‘La Desconocida’, the new film by Pablo Maqueda

From FOTOGRAMS, we present the Exclusive final poster of ‘La Desconocida’, the second feature film by Paco Maqueda, starring Manolo Solo, Laia Manzanares and Eva Llorach.

The film, shot between Madrid and Albacete, has competed in the Official Section of the Malaga Festival of this year, and in the BCN Film Festival.

‘The Unknown’ is based on the play, ‘grooming‘, written by Paco Bezerra, who has collaborated on the film’s script with Paco Maqueda and Haizea G. Viana.

with his hits theaters June 9we will enter a mysterious thriller in which we will see Manzanares in the shoes of Carolina, a innocent young man who meets Leo (Manolo Solo) in an online chat.

The man (who is posing as a 16-year-old boy) has decided to meet her in a lonely park in the city. However, as the story unfolds, the young woman seems to hide much more than he had imagined.

They are accompanied by Eva Llorach (as we mentioned before) and Blanca Pareswhom we have seen in films like ‘Julieta’, by Pedro Almodóvar.

Paco Maqueda, the film’s director, is responsible for the production of more than 25 feature films. This, his second feature as a director (after the documentary ‘Dear Werner (Walking on Cinema’)), is scheduled to be distributed in theaters by Filmax and has been produced by Fórmula Cine AIE and Sideral, together with La Audiovisual Forge.

‘La Desconocida’ is positioned as one of the most anticipated Spanish films of 2023… The countdown until its premiere has already begun. What secrets will you have prepared for us, Maqueda? We will know in June.
