Cinema quiz: What comedy is hidden behind this riddle?

A few months ago we introduced a new quiz concept that consists of trying to solve puzzles behind which movie titles are hidden. For this first edition, we focused on the horror genre, featuring five classics of the genre.

A little reminder of the previous episode to prepare for the second session. For example, one of the puzzles had two faces. First of all, Candy, the heroine of this famous cartoon in the late 1970s, whose adventures were broadcast in a children’s program in France. Indentation A2.

Then the director Michael Mann, the author of, among others, the films Heat, The Last of the Mohicans, or Public Enemies. Hence, the solution was Candyman, Bernard Rose’s 1992 horror film, which was slated for a 2021 remake by Nia DaCosta.

Another example a little further, which offered this one three images. The first revealed the face of actor Paul Rudd, best known for his role as the superhero Ant-Man. Another showed us a beautiful picture of our precious planet Earth.

The final visual was a little more technical, as it consisted of four images featuring Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, and Charlie Sheen, all of whom had supporting roles on Friends. So they were the “guests” that gave us Paul-Terre-Guest, in other words, Poltergeist, Tobe Hooper’s famous 80s horror film.

Here’s what to expect in this new part of the quiz in rebus mode, this time dedicated to French comedies with six films to try to discover the associations of this image.
