Santos celebrates 111 years with idols, cast and tributes to Pele

This Friday, April 14, Santos organized a party to celebrate the club’s 111th anniversary. The event was held at the Blue Med Convention Center, in the city of Santos.

There was a special tribute to Pelé, the greatest idol in Peixe history who died on December 29, 2022. This, therefore, was the first anniversary without the King. In addition, the event saw concerts by Banda Raça Negra, Kyan, Tribute to Charlie Brown Jr. with the band Soud Out, the Samba School of Torcida Jovem, champion of the access group II of the Carnival of São Paulo and the School of Samba by Torcida Sangue Jovem.

The site also housed stands of Sócio Rei and Santos Store, where the new uniforms were exclusively sold.

Some Santos players stopped by the party. Goalkeeper João Paulo, defenders Messias, Maicon and Bauermann, full backs Gabriel Inocêncio and Felipe Jonatan, midfielders Dodi and Luan Dias and forwards Bruno Mezenga, Marcos Leonardo and Ângelo. Also present were former athletes who wore the Alvinegra shirt, such as Madson and Diego Ribas. Additionally, the event featured Eternal Idols Pepe, Abel, Manoel Maria, and Lima.

President Andres Rueda and sports coordinator Paulo Roberto Falcão were present at the party, but did not make any speeches.
