Carla decides to leave Calvier
When she leaves the hospital, Carla is as confused as ever. Her adoptive parents suggest she spend the day with Marks and Rose, hoping it will relive her last memories. Carla understands that Rose is her biological mother, but still finds it hard to believe that they are close.
Meanwhile, Berenice temporarily moves to Leros. However, he explains to Jim that he cannot reveal who he is to Carla for fear of causing too much emotional shock. But Carla just walks through the door as Berenice and Jimmy talk about the wedding they’re having a few days before.
Berenice then explains to Carla why she didn’t tell her earlier. She also claims that her engagement ring was a little too big and she took it to a jeweler to have it re-stitched. Carla absorbs all the information and then hopes that Berenia will tell her the truth under any circumstances.
After that, Rose and Mark invite Carla to eat together. The young girl admits that despite the advice of her adoptive mother, she wanted to look at photos on her phone. When reading his messages with Berenice, he realizes that their wedding has been postponed because they were no longer getting along. Carla feels deeply betrayed. Berenia tries to explain, but is interrupted by the arrival of Nicholas Furian.
Shortly afterwards, Berenia apologizes to Carla, who quickly cuts her off, announcing that she is returning to her adoptive home in Angers, with no intention of returning…
Ferdinand takes a new position
Stanislas is interested in hiring a new maître d’ for Double A. If Bill refuses to take Ferdinand because he finds him odious, Anais still emphasizes that he is different from the other applicants, at least in theory. Stanislas decides to test it out at his practice during lunch.
During the service, Anais asks Ferdinand to take care of a regular customer who came to celebrate his birthday. It is worth noting that the young man should serve him a Norwegian omelette. Stanislas, Billy and Anais watch him from afar: he is doing great.
After the service, Billy tells Ferdinand that they are impressed by his skill and offer him the position of maître d’hôtel. However, she adds that she believes she doesn’t deserve it. At first, Ferdinand refuses the offer, stating that he came to the institute to prove to his father that he could become a chef. Bill advises her to make her own choice, seeing as she likes the service. Ferdinand agrees to consider the position on the condition that she gives him cooking lessons.
In the studio, Bill gives Ferdinand constructive feedback on his dish, but he takes criticism poorly. The young woman explains to him that he shouldn’t take them personally and advises him to make an organizational plan for his recipes to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Ferdinand then confides that he has confirmed to Stanislas that he has accepted the position of butler.
Gaitan asks Penelope for help
At the workshop, Gaitan asks Penelope to go over the papers with him before the first lesson. A young woman deliberately spills coffee on index cards, then tells him that her class the day before was very boring. Gaitan then asks for help to make his course more interactive.
So he suggests that first years randomly identify a fictitious client and create a meal that matches his diet, keeping a balance of flavor and nutrition. Ninon is very inspired but overwhelmed.
