The one who plays Robin in ‘Stranger Things’ will star in the comedic thriller ‘The Kill Room,’ joining a star-studded cast that also includes another ‘Pulp Fiction’ star, Samuel L Jacksonand the actor joe manganiello (‘League of Justice’).
While Hawke’s role is unclear, he joined the cast alongside Debi Mazar (‘One of ours’, ‘Madrid is burning’) and Larry Pine (‘Succession’), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
‘The Kill Room’ centers on a hit man (played by Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), and an art dealer (Thurman) after a money laundering scheme goes awry when the hit man becomes an overnight sensation.
The project has been written by Jonathan Jacobson and will be led by Nicol Paonwho previously said: “Getting to do ‘The Kill Room,’ an already incredible script, with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson is beyond my wildest dreams.. Every moment they are on the screen they are enviable and eye-catching. I am eternally grateful to both of you for saying yes, and I am excited to bring this to life.“.
Speaking about the project, the producers Jordan Yale Levine Y jordan beckerman they said: “The combination of Uma and Sam for this project is a dream come true. We’re sure Nicol is going to deliver a special film, and one that strikes the perfect balance between dark humor and edge-of-your-seat thrills.“.
Hawke has risen to fame for playing Robin Buckley in ‘Stranger Things’. Her character came to the series last season and she will soon return to the role in the fourth season which premieres next week.
For its part, ‘The Kill Room’ is about to start filming in New Jersey and New York, but there is no release date yet.
