In the same period, candidates who were covered by the exemption in 2022 and did not take the exam request can justify their absence
Starting from this second (17), students wishing to obtain the Enem 2023 registration tax exemption can now request it on the Participant Page. The benefit is intended for low-income applicants or those in their third year of high school in the public system. The deadline to place an order is April 28th.

In this same period, those who were exempt from the tax in the previous edition and did not appear for the test can justify the reason for their absence. Only those who have the justification accepted by Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira) can request the benefit again. Last year, the exam registration fee was 85 BRL.
At the time of the request or justification, the participant must communicate his CPF number and date of birth. You must also provide your email address and telephone number. The result comes out on March 8 and, in case of refusal, it is possible to appeal the decision.
Who has the right to exemption from the Enem fee
Participants who attend the last year of high school in 2023, in any type of education, at a public school can be exempt from the enrollment fee for Enem 2023.
Those who have attended the entire high school in a public school or as full scholarship holders in the private network are also entitled to the benefit, who have an income per capita equal to or less than the minimum wage.
The exemption can also be requested by the participant who declares a situation of socio-economic vulnerability, for being a member of a low-income family, with registration in the CadÚnico (Single Register of Social Programs of the Federal Government). In this case, the interested party must communicate his/her own unique and valid NIS (Social Identification Code).
