For 62 years, the Semaine de la Critique has introduced the whole world to a new generation of cinematographers who have come to present their first or second film. For the 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which will be held from 16 to 27 May 2023, the parallel section is headed by the director of L’Événement, Audrey Divan, who was awarded the Golden Lion at the 2021 Venice Film Festival.

He is accompanied by Sundance Festival Director of Programming Kim Yutan, Indian journalist Meanakshi Shede, German actor and choreographer Franz Rogowski and Portuguese cinematographer Rui Pochas.
