Mandalore is free, long live Mandalore! So the battle that began in episode 7 produced an epic ending in The Mandalorian’s third season finale, which culminated in a showdown between Dean Jarrin, Grogu, and Bo-Katan against the fearsome Moff Gideon.

During this duel, the latter revealed the purpose of his plan to create his own clones, followers of the Force. A study reminiscent of that conducted by Emperor Palpatine, which notably gave life to Supreme Leader Snoke, but also Rey in the Star Wars postlogy (Episodes VII – VIII – IX).

After many twists and turns, including the loss of the Dark One, our heroes were able to defeat Moff Gideon, who was killed by the explosion of his Imperial base on Mandalorian. The end of one chapter, but not the series, after the recapture of the planet, gave Din Jarin the opportunity to formally request Grogu, promptly renamed Armorer: Din Grogu.

So the kid and his adoptive father prepare to start a new adventure as Marshals of the New Republic. But that’s not all, as the two characters are offered a farm on Revelo by High Magistrate Griff Karga, where they can spend their peaceful days before their next mission.
