“Who killed Sarah?”: 10 things that do not make sense for Season 3

During the three seasons of ‘Who Killed Sara?’ We are immersed in the search for revenge and the perpetrator of the alleged murder of Alex Guzman’s sister.

The Netflix series stood out because it had unexpected twists that added more drama and unknown to history. Unfortunately, for many viewers these “plot twists” were also responsible for various nonsense that existed in the production.

The first two seasons of ‘Who Killed Sara?’ We were introduced to various things that do not make sense, from Alex who was a specialist hacker who learned everything in prison until he had no idea that his sister had schizophrenia (not so spy and observant, my dear Alex?).

Like these two installments, season 3 also had a number of silly details. We present you 10.

# 1 Marifer worked for Reinaldo

The presence of Reinaldo and Medusa was not only the focus of Season 3 of “Who Killed Sara?”, But also the reason why there were several inconsistencies in the plot that we already knew, including Marifer’s story.

The second season tells us that Sara’s best friend wants to take revenge on the Lazcanos and find out where her mother is, actions that give meaning and weight to her character in the story.

However, in the last installment, this plot diminishes when we discover that all of Marifer’s actions were simply because she worked for Reinaldo. What happened to trying to find out where his mother is and his thirst for revenge against the Lazcano?

# 2 Marifer Hospitalization

In the finale of Season 2, the casino fire wins Marifer’s life, or so we believe, as in the last installment we discover that Sara’s best friend survived.

There is not so much a problem with that, we accept it. However, it is a bit of a surprise that at the beginning of her recovery she was admitted to the sowing hospital at CDMX. Why didn’t Reynaldo take her to the Medusa Center from the beginning, where she was eventually locked up? This was the best place for Marifer to stay calm and avoid meeting Alex.

# 3 Lucia’s escape from the center of Medusa

At first, the center of Medusa looks like an impenetrable fortress, even Álex Guzmán and César Lazcano warn that it is very difficult to enter or leave without permission. However, this facade of a high-security area falls when we see the ease with which Lucía, Sara’s daughter, escapes in an ambulance.

# 4 Sarah’s Gun

Speaking of the security of the Medusa Center, we can also point out how Sarah acquires the huge knife with which she commits suicide * spoiler warning *. Isn’t it supposed that Alex’s sister was Reynaldo’s most important patient and under 24/7 surveillance?

# 5 Lucia arrives at Alex’s house

Daniela, Nicandro’s sister, orchestrates Lucía’s escape and gives her her brother’s cell phone to locate θlex, her uncle. We know that Lucia did not call him to find out where he was staying due to the surprise that characterizes her arrival. Did not Nikandro have almost the address of Guzman’s house on his cell phone?

Also, how did he know what to do as soon as he left the Medusa Center? Lucía spent her whole life locked up and out of touch with the world, but somehow, which we still dispute, she managed to get from Cuernavaca to Mexico City (did Morelos’s ambulance arrive at the CDMX?) And only there did she find Alex’s house.

# 6 Nicandro must kill Álex Guzmán

When Álex Guzmán is released, Reinaldo, nervous and anxious to find out what happened to Sara, goes to Nicandro’s son to kill him. However, was it not easier to skip the trip to London and ask his criminals to take care of Alex?

Even he could have done it with their help, after all he was the one who killed the mother of the Guzmán brothers (another small detail that was left in the air, since according to what he had died of disease, but we let go because eventually and after all his children, who were the only ones who could ask for explanations, were not at his funeral).

# 7 The chase of Rodolfo and Eliza

In the final chapter of season 3, Rodolfo and Elisa follow Álex at top speed on their way to the Medusa Center and even in one shot we see that there are more than 50 kilometers to get to Cuernavaca, where his clinic is located. Reinaldo. As soon as they arrive, both Rodolfo and Eliza ask him if Sarah is supposed to be there.

However, this persecution loses its meaning when we learn that Alex confirms the death of his sister in the Reynaldo cemetery. Isn’t it supposed that Rodolfo and Eliza were almost on their feet on their way to Cuernavaca? How come they missed Alex’s diversion but got to the center of Project Medusa almost simultaneously?

# 8 César Lazcano’s final cancer

In the final minutes of the end of ‘Who Killed Sara?’ We understand why the patriarch of the Lazcano family is so calm about his fate in prison: he had already given up to die of pancreatic cancer in its final stages.

In a series of flashbacks (which were the protagonists in this third season) we discover that Cesar is investing his fortune in medical treatments to extend the rare two months of his life expectancy. In addition, we have some moments when we see him suffer from pain due to this disease.

However, it does not add much that the side effects of the treatments he underwent or the aggression of an end-stage cancer were not reflected in its onset in general.

# 9 Alex and his hacker training (again)

From the first season, the fact that Álex is an experienced hacker after 18 years in prison did not convince us much of what we say, but we let it go. In this third installment, we were told a little more about how he acquired his computer skills: thanks to the jailer who let him learn his skills in his office.

However, this only created one more nonsense. Guzman asks the manager to give him the best hacker to teach him. In this case, why invest in a specialist to find out and “charge” him? Wasn’t it better to just ask this hacker to find out if his wife was cheating on him or whatever else the manager needed?

# 10 The lack of consequences in crimes

The crimes in “Who Killed Sarah?” is the turn of the day. However, the consequences for them are not so many. For example, the fire that Eliza caused in the casino did not cause her any problem with the law. Although the place belonged to his family, but in the end it was a crime and there was one victim: Marifer.

Another case is the fact that neither Álex nor Elisa suffered consequences for their actions at the Medusa Center. Yes, Caesar is taking responsibility. However, it is later reported in detail that, from this event, he was only blamed for the murder of Reinaldo, so we wonder who is responsible for the wounded guards, the taking of hostages or the possession of illegal weapons.
