Nicolas Cage as Dracula: Surprising Appearance in Renfield Trailer!

The first Renfield trailer featuring Nicolas Cage as Count Dracula has finally been released! This horror comedy takes the characters from Bram Stoker’s novel and brings them to present day New Orleans.

Directed by Chris McKay (The Tomorrow War, Lego Batman), the feature film is based on RM Renfield, starring Nicholas Hoult, Dracula’s loyal servant. Tired of the malicious actions of the Transylvanian count, the latter gradually reevaluates his outlook on life and allows himself to continue helping the vampire…

Bram Stoker’s novel portrays Renfield as a delusional man confined to an asylum. The latter eats living creatures, believing that their blood will make him immortal. Stoker later reveals that these strange actions are the result of being brainwashed by Dracula.

Although Nicolas Hoult plays the lead role, the real curiosity of this film is Nicolas Cage’s interpretation of the monster. The latter appears at the end of the trailer and makes an amazing appearance. The actor told the magazine about this recently Empire Inspired by Andy Warhol’s work “Dracula”.

When I understood where McKay wanted to go, I realized that the film had a funny and pop side. So I thought, “This is going to be a Pop Art Dracula.” Warhol made a great black-on-black Dracula. My character is in this approach.”
