Viewers of the new animated film “Yaga and the Book of Spells” will very soon be able to hear the voices of their favorite actors – Yulia Khlynina and Fyodor Bondarchuk. Khlynina voiced the role of the evil sorceress Yaga in the cartoon. However, judging by the plot of the picture, this Baba Yaga is not at all as evil as it seems at first glance. Bondarchuk, on the project, “spoke” in the voice of Leshy, a quarrelsome and bright character, who will also take part in adventures and missions to save the kingdom from the machinations of the evil sorceress Belladonna.

We decided to focus on that part of Yaga’s fairy tale biography, which is usually omitted in fairy tales: how she came to a witch’s life, what happened in her childhood and adolescence, which made her the main villain of Russian fairy tales. It turned out such a way of becoming a character, a kind of growing up, which, I think, will be close to the children’s and teenage audience, – Bondarchuk said about the creation of the film.

The daughters of the singer Glucose, Lydia (aka ray!) and Vera, also worked on the project. 16-year-old Lydia got the party of the king’s daughter, Princess Sineglazka, who, with the help of Yaga, is trying to save her kingdom and her father. And 11-year-old Vera voiced Yaga as a child. By the way, Lydia also recorded a soundtrack for the film – the single “Mistake of Nature”, a video clip for which she released at the beginning of the month. The daughter of a famous singer has long been making confident steps in the music industry and should soon release a full-fledged music album.

The film “Yaga and the Book of Spells” is scheduled for wide release on April 27. The film will also be shown as part of the Moscow International Film Festival, which opens on April 20. The film will screen on April 22.
