Tonight on TV: Don’t be fooled by appearances, this comedy is a real gem!

In the early 2000s, in order to diversify the filmography associated with the romantic comedy genre, Sandra Bullock turned to the roles of women in all kinds of danger. He even goes so far as to turn into a real tomboy in his detective.

Under the direction of Donald Petrie, the actor really lends his qualities to Grace, a stylish FBI agent who, after a mysterious terrorist threat, finds herself assigned to save the Miss USA pageant.

Upon its release, this comedy was such a critical and commercial success that it is now considered a cult classic. For her performance, Sandra Bullock was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy. So a sequel would logically see the light of day five years later.

Directed by John Pasquin, Miss FBI: Divinely Armed follows the new adventures of Grace, who finds fame and quits her job as an agent to become the face of the FBI. At least until he resumes his job in Las Vegas to save his kidnapped best friend.

The second part is placed under the sign of luxurious sets, eccentric costumes, wild chases and funny gags.
