Morgan Returns to ‘The Walking Dead’ Set in Final ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Trailer

The American pay channel AMC has released two trailers for the eighth and final season of “Fear the Walking Dead”, which highlights the confrontation with a new group of adversaries, the mysterious managers of Padre – a semi-mythological place in the series to represent a refuge in the post-apocalypse.

The seventh season presented a literally post-apocalyptic world in the storyline, after a nuclear explosion devastated Texas and made the zombies radioactive. Faced with this desolate scenery, where the air itself came to represent death, the few survivors fought for the only safe place, only to see it burn at the end and run into a river with no certain destination.

This ending left protagonist Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) counting down the hours to die delirious after being tainted by a zombie, only to miraculously heal and survive, despite being abandoned to begin a journey away from others. The season also said goodbye to other characters, such as Althea (Maggie Grace), who had her “happy ending” with Isabelle (Sydney Lemmon), helicopter pilot for the mysterious CRM (Civic Republic Militia), and Wes (Colby Hollman) . , the only one actually killed in the storyline. Plus, she left Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) contaminated with radiation and on the verge of death.

On the other hand, the storyline brought Alicia’s mother Madison (Kim Dickens) back to life, who everyone believed died in season 4. Previews show that her journey alongside Morgan (Lennie James) should guide the start of season 8, which will also introduce a new antagonist and bring Morgan back to Atlanta, where he met Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and where “The Walking Dead” series began in 2010.

With the end of this production, the “The Walking Dead” universe will air three new attractions, all derived from the main series and with a limited format. These are “The Walking Dead: Dead City”, which focuses on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon”, with Norman Reedus, and an as yet untitled series with Rick and Michonne ( Danai Gurira).

The final season of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ will air on May 14 in the United States. The series is available in Brazil on the AMC Brasil pay channel and on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
