Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, April 21, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Friday, April 21, 2023 on such a big sun…

Eve is determined to find out the truth

Virgil calls Manu and invites him for a drink. Only Manu refuses because he doesn’t want to talk about Eve. Annoyed, Virgil explains how unhappy the French teacher has been since their breakup. Refusing to put the couple at risk with the whole thing, she asks Manu to make an effort, but the latter doesn’t really want to talk to her about it. Virgil, annoyed, then reminds her that he managed to forgive Elsa for having lied to him about much more serious matters. Obviously, Manu takes this badly and advises him to take care of his boats before hanging up, rather than meddling in his personal life.

Meanwhile, Claudine, Eve, and Dimitri sign documents formalizing the dissolution of the Seduction Agency. It will be launched at the end of the month. A blow to the lawyer, who regrets seeing the concept that would have allowed him to stop his fate so suddenly. Words that annoy Eve because the woman is probably dead because of them.

Once alone, Eve and Dimitri discuss Alin’s death. For Dimitri, their client probably didn’t kill herself, especially since she was a female fighter. Eva, for her part, admits that there are many gray areas in this case that deserve to be dug up. Be that as it may, Dimitri no longer wants to interfere and advises Eva to do the same.

In the process, Eva goes to the police station. Behind the one-way glass, the French teacher then recognizes the man who stole the identity of Aline’s husband. This is Auger, the brother of Juliet Quester’s housekeeper.

After leaving the post, Eva meets Manu. He wants to talk about his suspicions about Aline’s death, but Manu refuses to listen to him. He then takes this opportunity to give her the key to their apartment before telling her he doesn’t want to see her again. Insulted, Eva insults him and wonders how she could possibly love him. In turn, the policeman shoots a stern remark and then leaves.

A few steps away, Alex and Aya interrogate Auger, who denies the accusations against him. Because he doesn’t want to cooperate, the police insist that he submit a DNA sample, which they eventually get.

Later, Eve confides in Virgil about her suspicions about Aline’s death. Indeed, she is more convinced than ever that the deceased would never have ended her life as long as she stayed with her husband for the welfare of their child. Determined to set the story straight, Eva seeks Virgil’s help, as everyone involved in the case knows his face. So he needs to investigate it. Concerned, Virgil invites him to calm things down and let the police do their job. However, Eve is determined to find out the truth on her own.

EVAN hires Lorraine

At the hospital, Evan questions Lorraine about her future plans. The latter then responds to his desire to be involved in a similar project. An ideal opportunity for a doctor to offer her the opportunity to work with him and become the assistant director of his clinic. Without hesitation, Lorin accepts.

Meanwhile, Jennifer and Claire notice Lauryn’s little game. Everyone noticed that she was with Evan and changed her shift schedule to work with him. While Jennifer wonders if they’re sleeping together, Claire is sure they’re not. According to him, he is very much in love with his wife. However, Jennifer knows her colleague well and knows that she always gets what she wants.

Mark and Chloe are in serious danger

Mark watches in front of a recycling company. Seeing the van driver leave the company, the journalist calls Chloe and informs her that she is going to follow him. Convinced that he is going to Beaufort, Chloe offers to join him at the usual place. Before leaving, Chloe instructs Robin to tell Evan where she is.

A few hours later, Mark and Chloe filmed Beaufort and his accomplice buried in a pit of cans.

In turn, Robin reveals to her father that Chloe and Mark have gone into hiding. Evan, especially annoyed, hopes that nothing will happen to his wife. Moreover, he is ready to smash the journalist’s face if something happens to him. Meanwhile, Mark and Chloe abandon their equipment when Beaufort’s accomplice threatens them at gunpoint…
