What is it about?

who is he with
And Sami Chris Evans and Ana de Armas! After Knives Out (2018) and The Gray Man (2022), the two actors star opposite each other again in Ghosted. The two friends are trying a comedy romance together this time. They are surrounded by Adrien Brody in this case as the villain.
Is it worth seeing?
You might expect to see an action movie with Ghosted by seeing the two names in the cast. No. Apple TV offers its subscribers a short 2-hour spy comedy with two actors who have already worked together. A genre in which the platform has not yet been approved.
On paper, Ghosted is nothing original, and the film clearly relies on its cast to catch the eye. Chris Evans has nothing to prove in comedy (he actually started in this genre) and action. But we’ve been waiting for Anna de Armas around the bend, she who offered herself the role of James Bond girl (the dying can wait) not so long ago. Despite the agreed scenario, the resident of Havana does with distinction.
By the way, if you like movies like Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Night and Day, then Ghosted is for you. Dexter Fletcher’s camerawork (to whom we owe the excellent Rocketman) takes us from one country to another, between 2/3 jokes and some occasionally awkwardly shot action scenes. Blame it on the very present green background and situations that are very far away.
We’ll keep the undeniable alchemy between his two talents and several Marvel-related cameos featuring him from this film. We won’t reveal the names, but seeing them on screen will give you a smile or two.
Speaking of Marvel, by the way, Chris Evans originally starred opposite his former Avengers and Captain America co-star Scarlett Johansson. Until a scheduling problem prompts him to abandon the project and replace Ana de Armas.
Ghosted, to watch on AppleTV+ and MyCanal.
