What can you do now to help stop the earth’s atmosphere from warming?
International Mother Earth Day is celebrated on April 22. The date was created by US Senator Gaylord Nelson on April 22, 1970, with the intention of motivating awareness for biodiversity conservation and environmental protection on planet Earth.
The United Nations (UN) incorporated the date into its calendar of special dates in 2009, naming April 22 International Mother Earth Day, or simply Earth Day.

Planet Earth is made up of water, land, plants, humans and animals and is surrounded by an atmosphere that is the same for all. It is this atmosphere that is experiencing unprecedented warming, due to increased emissions of gases that cause the greenhouse effect, and is changing rapidly and in a way that is harmful to the entire planet. The signs of climate change are already being seen in all regions of the planet and are only on the rise.
The recent United Nations report on the state of the earth’s climate reveals a frightening and increasingly worrying increase in the effects of climate change on the earth’s environment.
According to the United Nations, March 2023 was the second warmest March observed on the entire planet since global temperature monitoring began. The years 2015 to 2022 were the eight warmest in the instrument’s 173-year temperature record
This April 22, 2023, think sincerely about what you can do right now to help stop the earth’s atmosphere from warming.
The Earth is unique, it has no other reserve.
