Who cheated first? The war of versions between the profiles of Bruna Griphao and Larissa Santos resulted in official demonstrations, disappointed statements and many exchanges of votes. But what was the actual chronology of events?
Gathering information from both sides and from sources close to the situation, we’ve traced the order in which the Allied squads broke up.
Bruna’s father, Kakau Barra, revealed that he contacted Bela, the administrator of Larissa’s profile, on Thursday evening (18/4), prior to the result of the wall that the teacher fought against Ricardo Alphace.
According to a note on Larissa’s official profile, the team preferred not to define anything because they didn’t even know “what the result of the wall we were facing would be, nor what the configuration of the next wall would be”. They asked to resume the conversation when they had “more precise information”.
“At that moment, I was already sure what pattern was happening,” Kakau said attending a Space on Friday night (4/20), informing that he felt Larissa’s team would break the partnership.
Also on Thursday, on the night of the wall, the audio of a Space leaked with members of Bruna’s team, Larissa’s regret for not having left for Domitilla and cheering for Alface. “This recap, for me, was already a crime, right? I love Lari very much, but it’s not normal for Domitilla, despite everything, to leave for someone who has already left before and returned, understood?” said Fabinho Estefano. A female voice agrees (apparently Nany Pikas): “It’s like Lettuce coming out.” And she added that “it was absurd that Lettuce was not in the final”.
Bruna’s profile did her worst BBB effort to save Larissa on that wall, garnering 14,000 votes at most.
The endurance test that defined the last wall concluded at 5.10pm on Friday, but the votes were only released during the night, during the live broadcast. Before any other sister, Bruna’s profile was the first to announce her choice: #ForaLarissa.
In an official note on this decision, Bruna’s profile gave the following explanation: “Throughout Friday (21/4), we waited for a return from Larissa’s team, which did not happen! He confirmed to us the certainty that whoever he held our hand so much he had let go of ours so friday itself to honor the whole pledge and covenant BALA [Bruna, Aline, Larissa, Amanda]Amanda Meirelles management was informed that our placement on Paredão would be #ForaLari”.
However, “all Friday” was only during the morning and lunchtime. Amanda’s ADM was informed at 2.30pm by Kakau Barra that Bruna’s profile would call #ForaLarissa. Agitated by the mutirões, Anderson Wallan couldn’t remember exactly the time, considering it could have been around 3 pm, because the phone call lasted 35 minutes. 3pm when he’s done. And the quick initiative, while the test of resistance with Amanda and Aline in the quarrel was still taking place, shouldn’t just be marking the ground, but probing support in joint efforts, especially if Amanda was among the three on the wall – Larissa and Bruna were already confirmed. Anderson did not provide details.
All afternoon, Larissa’s fans tried to bring to the attention of their favorite team all the strange movements they noticed backstage. The peak of this movement would have occurred around 5 pm, the end time of the test for the finalist Amanda.
Citing “access to information, evidence, video, audio and comment likes that insinuate a position, we validate the feeling of annoyance,” Larissa’s official profile said on Saturday (4/22). “The family was bombarded with numerous proofs that the articulation of this team against Larissa had already been formulated much earlier. Thus, Lari’s family understood that their hand had been untied.”
Larissa’s team also revealed that, after defining who would go to the wall, they sought out the teams of Aline and Amanda to take care of the matter, where they positioned themselves thus: “We’d just be #FicaLari, because, despite all of the above , we understood that for us it would not have made sense to be #ForaAline and #ForaBruna”.
Everything changed when Bruna’s profile released #ForaLarissa before everyone else. “As soon as (Bruna’s) team released the placement (#ForaLari) in advance, we understood that our placement had to be the same (#ForaBruna)”.
In his defense, Bruna’s profile tried to tell a different timeline, insisting that the initiative to convene the first task force of this wall was a reaction to the attitude of others.
“It is important for everyone to know that the time of publication on the networks does not necessarily have to do with the time the decision was made,” Bruna’s team said on Saturday. “All the official profiles seemed to be waiting for someone to rank first and, like Bruna, we didn’t back down and, therefore, were the first to post our location.” Placement set at 2.30pm on Friday.
