‘Argentine, 1985’ and ‘News of a kidnapping’ triumph in the X Edition.
Madrid once again hosted the PLATINUM Awards that bring together the great talents of the industries of the 23 Ibero-American countries that, in their tenth editionhave awarded the film ‘Argentina, 1985′ and the Colombian-Chilean series’News of a kidnapping’.
The movie starring Ricardo Darin collected five awards during a gala hosted by Carolina Gaitán, Omar Chaparro and Paz Vega. Among them, the statuette for the Best Ibero-American Fiction Film and Best Male Performance for Darín himself. Arguments that feed why you have to see ‘Argentina, 1985’.
The Colombian-Chilean series’News of a kidnapping was another of the winners of the event after winning four awards, including Best Miniseries or Fiction Film Series, at a gala in which Benicio, the bull was one of the stars of the night when receiving the Honor Award.
‘As bestas’, the brown beast of Sorogoyen
After sweeping the 2023 Goyas with 9 awards, Rodrigo Sorogoyen’s film continues its successful run. The despairing portrait of ‘As bestas’ won four awards: that of Luis Zahera to the Best Male Performance were added in turn by Best Direction for Rodrigo SorogoyenBest Sound Direction for Aitor Berenguer, Fabiola Ordoyo and Yasmina Praderas and, to finish off the night, Best Editing Direction for Alberto del Campo.
Besides, Laia Costa and Susi Alvarez respectively won the award for Best Female Performance and Best Supporting Female Performance for his excellent work on ‘Five little wolves’also a great winner at the Malaga Festival.
