Avengers FA was last season’s regional champion in the national competition
After confirming the conference participants North East AND South, the Brazilian American Football League (Liga BFA) has announced the teams from the North that will participate in the national tournament. Just like last season, the competition will have four teams: Avengers, Manaus FA, São Luís Snarks and Remo Lions.
Unlike the other two conferences, Norte will have the same number of attendees as last year. On that occasion, the Avengers FA were the champions by defeating the Manaus FA in the final of the national tournament.
The Pará team went to the playoffs national teams, but were eliminated by Sorriso Hornerts, in a match played in Mato Grosso.
The Liga BFA is expected to announce teams from the Southeast and Midwest Conferences in the coming days. At least two teams from these regions have already been announced – after leaving the Elite Division (P1) of the Brasileirão da CBFA: Cruzeiro FA and Rondonópolis Hawks.
The classification and the formula of the dispute should also be released shortly by the Liga BFA.
