As happened in Lisbon, during the official reception ceremonies for President Lula, supporters carry the flags of the PT and chant traditional slogans such as “Lula, warrior of the Brazilian people”. Lula won the election in Portugal, with 64% of the vote. At about 7:00 Brasilia time, the president began addressing a group of about 200 businessmen attending the event.
