The Mandalorian: Season 4 will reboot this canceled Star Wars series

Nothing is lost in the Star Wars galaxy. Thus, much of the concept art that was created for the needs of the prelogue, but which was never used by George Lucas, was eventually restored by JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson to film the postlogue.

In the great tradition of this creative reworking, The Mandalorian series is no exception, as the plot of its fourth season will be inspired by the story that was supposed to follow Rangers of the New Republic, a series that was canceled after the firing of its main actress, Jynna. Carano (Cara Dune translator) for controversial remarks.

While this series was supposed to follow the galactic adventures of the Justifier Marshall, it would end up being Dean Jarrin and his loyal Grogu (sorry, Dean Grogu) who borrow those traits, as revealed to us in the season three finale. A new chapter in the series.

Grogu Texas Ranger, coming soon to Disney+.

However, the cancellation of this series of Star Wars does not threaten the future of the franchise on Disney +, on the contrary, because several innovations are already expected, including Ahsoka (for the coming August), The Acolyte (2024), a prequel for ages. Prelude and Lando Calrissian series, still under review.

On the cinema side, several new feature films have also been announced. Including a spin-off dedicated to Rey that takes place fifteen years after the end of the postlogy, a James Mangold film that explores an entirely new part of the Star Wars timeline, or a feature film by Dave Filon whose main theme is Connect all the Disney+ series!

Season three of The Mandalorian is now available exclusively on Disney+.
