Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, April 26, 2023 [SPOILERS]

MANU finds Eva and Virgil investigating

Virgil and Alix spent the night together. During breakfast, the latter calls a car dealer friend to find out the identity of Fred Sauzet’s girlfriend through the license plate number. When he hangs up, Alix questions him about the call, and Virgil confesses as he helps Eva investigate the death of Aline Delclos.

Meanwhile, Eva comes across a note left by Manu on a box of cookies and tries to hold back her emotions.

He then finds Virgil at the agency. As she investigates, Eva wonders if Aline wasn’t having an affair with Fred Sauzette and her lover wouldn’t kill her out of jealousy when she found out the truth. Only, Virgil finds it difficult to believe this hypothesis. So he decides to go to Aline’s funeral, which will be held this afternoon, in hopes of getting more information.

For his part, Judge Laplace has yet to sign the document allowing Aline Delclos’s death to be classified as murder, much to Manu’s dismay as he wastes time on his case. Despite everything, a policeman goes to Aline’s funeral to film the gathering and discovers that Virgil is also attending the ceremony.

Later, Virgil approaches Thibaut Delclos at the exit of the cemetery. After offering his condolences, Virgil tells him that Aline had a very good reputation in bullfighting and that his boss had spoken of him in very disturbing terms. Thibault then retorts that Fred didn’t mean what he said. Indeed, the relationship between Fred and Allyn became very strained after he took over the management of the herd. He also tells her that his wife was an idealist unlike Fred who only cared about money and herd fame. And finding out that Aline didn’t want to resign.

In the evening, Manu waits for Virgil at the marina and asks him what he was doing at Aline’s funeral. Hearing that they are investigating, Manu asks her to let the police do their thing. Only, Virgil replies that they won’t let him go until they shed some light on the story. When he talks about Eva’s discomfort, Manu immediately stops him and accuses him of mixing things up. But Virgil argues the opposite, because he knows what he is doing and why. Unlike Manu, Virgil emphasizes that he is on Eve’s side…

Jules proposes to Thais

Kira cannot sell Tip Green products. If not going door-to-door, the teenager still manages to sell some products in high school, although it is forbidden.

In turn, Thais also sold the products to some comrades. Moreover, the young woman is so delighted with the first effects of the cream she bought that she talks about it to everyone around her. As a result, Thais continues to sell.

Unfortunately, Sabine catches him exchanging his goods for money. Facing the teacher’s questions, Tice tries to convince her classmates that she owes them money for her friend’s birthday.

Later, Kira is approached by a woman working at a diner to buy groceries for her. Seeing his friend hesitate, Thais steps in and closes the sale.

In turn, Sabine tells Fanny what she saw earlier in the day. In turn, the sports teacher caught Kira doing the same thing to the student. Sabine then wonders if Kira and Tais are up to something.

Not far from there, Kira gets a call from Jules, who suggests they go out for drinks after class. Therefore, teenage girls find him at 101 years old. After giving Kira some advice to regain her confidence to sell her products, Jules invites them to dinner. Kira refuses only because she was going to review it with Louis that evening. Disappointment for Jules.

At her friend’s house, Kira talks about her day. However, the teenager has his head elsewhere and is looking at Jules’ photos on his phone.

A few steps away, Jules takes advantage of her time alone with Ty to ask her about Kira. Indeed, Tip Green’s principal does not seem insensitive to the young woman’s charms. However, Tayce quickly deflects the conversation and asks Jules to develop it within the company. And that’s a good thing, because he thinks he’s ready to move on to the next step, which is recruiting new ambassadors. Thais would then receive a commission on the suitcases.
