When Boba Fett’s translator empties into his bag, the entire Star Wars galaxy trembles. With a return to the stage thanks to the reappearance of his beloved character in The Mandalorian season 2, then in its spin-off The Book of Boba Fett, New Zealand translator Temuera Morrison seems to have every reason to be happy.
But according to his remarks during the Australian convention SUPANOVA Comic Con & Gaming, the latter would be unhappy with the treatment of his character, who he believes was sacrificed in favor of the Mandalorian Dean Jarrin. Set to appear in Season 3 of the Star Wars program, Morrison was eventually kicked out of the plot.
A failure that does not go away, especially since the actor has not yet realized the fact that the Mandalorian invited himself in the book of Boba Fett in several episodes, a presence that he said. “broke” The series in which he played the main role:
This mando stole a few chapters from my book. It was painful for me to see him in this new darkness. He happened on the show and he killed everyone. I thought this guy was ruining the show for me, but I couldn’t say anything because I’m not the scriptwriter. Guess that was something I had to take for granted.
Due to the negative reviews it has garnered, it is unlikely that the Boba Fett series will return for a second season. So let’s hope that her translator Temuera Morrison can at least return for the next season of The Mandalorian, or the new Star Wars series about ex-Jedi Ahsoka Tano, which is expected next August.
Season three of The Mandalorian is now available exclusively on Disney+.
