Former Batman, Michael Keaton borrows a suit; the reason is noble!

“The Flash” director Andy Muschietti told IGN that Michael Keaton got emotional on set when he entered the Batcave, which was completely recreated by the production design team. Momento marked the return of the bat from “Batman: Return” (1992) to a DC production, 34 years after its debut.

Muschietti said he even received a request from Keaton to take a picture of him in the Batman suit. “It was funny because at one point during the scene where we shot him in one-piece suit, he said, ‘Can you take a picture? It’s for my nephew,’” Muschietti said.

it became like this [olhos arregalados] for a while. I didn’t want to interrupt him. I just wanted him to soak it up. Who knows what was going on there [na mente de Keaton]? But something was happening.

Warner Bros. premiered “The Flash” in full at CinemaCon, where Keaton received unanimous praise for his return as Batman. The film’s most recent trailer has fans excited as Keaton reprises his famous line from the 1989 film: “Are you going crazy? Let’s go screw up.”

“It looked like fun,” Keaton said in an interview with Variety in 2022 about returning to play Batman for a third time, in “The Flash.”

I was curious to know what it would be like after so many years. Not so much for me doing it – obviously a little bit of it – but I was just curious about it socially speaking. This whole thing is gigantic. They have their own world. So I like looking at him as an outsider, thinking ‘Wow!’
