Fagner surpasses Jadson to become the seventh best passer in the history of Corinthians; watch

Right-back Fagner became, in the victory against Remo, the seventh best passer in the history of Corinthians. With Róger Guedes’ goal-scoring cross, the 33-year-old reached 65 passes for goal for Alvinegra, leaving Jadson behind. The duo played together for Timão in the 2015 and 2017 Brazilian titles.




At the moment, Cláudio (191), Marcelinho Carioca (187), Luizinho (166), Rivellino (120), Vaguinho (104) and Baltazar (88) are the names ahead of Fagner in assists. The numbers are raised by the portal my rudder.

Counting for 2023 alone, Fagner is the team leader in passes on goal, with six. Giuliano and Yuri Alberto are close behind, with four each, while Renato Augusto and Fausto have three.

Fagner’s return to the starting lineup against Remo was surprising, as the athlete suffered from left thigh edema in the 1-0 defeat against Argentinos Juniors.
