During participation in Time 100 Summit (via Variety), the filmmaker was asked about the feeling of watching a feature in the iconic action-adventure franchise that he did not direct. “I had this experience two nights ago. Bob Iger [diretor executivo da Walt Disney Company] made a presentation to several executives of the disneyand I came to the display with James Mangold,” stated Spielberg.
Everyone loved the movie. It’s really a good movie Indiana Jones. I’m very proud of what James did with him.
“When the lights came up, I turned to the group and said, ‘Damn it! I thought I was the only one who knew how to make one of these,'” continued the legendary director. In the franchise, he was responsible for Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008).
