Lisandro proposes to Anais

Passing by Anais in the corridor of the Institute, Theo takes the opportunity to approach her, having not dared to text her all weekend. Anais complains about the uncomfortable situation she was put in on Friday. He couldn’t stop thinking about it. Theo clings to this information and tries to get her to admit the reciprocity of her feelings, but Anais continues to deny it outright.

In the dressing room, Salome questions Anais about her romantic dinner with Lisandro, unaware that Judy is overhearing their conversation. Anais tells her best friend that Theo stole her companion’s surprise proposal to her. She also tells them about their kiss, before insisting that she is only physically attracted to Theo. Salome then suggests that Lysandro is going to propose to her at another time. But Anais stands by her position on marriage: she never wanted it.

In the kitchen, Judy tries to calm Theo down and tell him to listen. He thinks Anais is going to turn down Lisandro’s marriage proposal out of principle, but also because she has feelings for him. However, Theo believes he has done all he can and doesn’t want to push anything if Anais isn’t ready to admit it.

In turn, Lisandro tells Rose that his marriage proposal was canceled due to Double A’s booking at a professional event. Undeterred, Butler is ready to propose to Anais that same day at Institute Park.

In the atelier, master’s students work on training Theo. The latter checks out a plate of Anais, who chose to accompany her flank steak with paprika-buttered corn on the cob in a chimichurri sauce. Theo tastes it, then suggests recalling the acidity of the meat sauce as an accompaniment. Anais immediately had the idea to add lime juice to her butter. Impressed with his talent, Theo declares that his dish deserves to be on the menu at Auguste Armand’s restaurant. Aside from Salome, Livio begins to notice the chemistry between Theo and Anais and immediately tells Charlene about it.

At the end of the lesson, Salome really thinks that her best friend has feelings for Theo considering his situation. Anais admits that his presence bothers her, but she doesn’t want to think too much about what it means. At the same time, he receives a message from Lisandro, who asks to see him.

Even though she doesn’t really feel like it, Anais still goes to Lisandro’s meeting at Institute Park. In a separate corner, these trees were decorated with their pictures. He then launches into a lengthy declaration of love before getting down on one knee and asking.

Afterwards, Anais meets Theo in the hallway. A young chef approaches her to talk about their chemistry in the kitchen. Anais finally realizes that something is going on between them, but adds that she’s not interested. While Theo insists, Anais shows him the ring she is wearing and announces that she is now betrothed to Lisandro…

Claire resumes classes

After a well-rested weekend, Claire asks Antoine if she can resume a few hours of lessons during the week. Faced with the deputy director’s concern, the chef explains that he must first of all change the way he works and not completely deprive himself of enjoying the kitchen. She eventually convinces him by offering to only look after the Year 3s as they are more creative and autonomous than the other classes.

At the atelier, if Lionel doubts Chef Guinot’s ability to teach, barely recovering from a burn, Hortense is more confident. After Claire suggests that the students work on the sabayon, but Lionel points out that they already worked on it last week. Claire does not allow herself to be destabilized and finally offers Mare to leave.

Although Lionel suspects their teacher of total improvisation, he really has an exercise in mind. In addition to getting out in the fresh air, she encourages students to observe wetland plants to find inspiration and imagine combinations in the kitchen.

Alerted to his mother’s presence in the Marais and not the atelier, Louis also goes there to make sure everything is going well. He is very surprised by his mother’s new methods, but the latter proves that she manages the situation perfectly.

Billy and Tom became closer

On May 1, students serving in Double A are tasked with handing out lily pads. Bill is campaigning for flowers to be given differently to men and women, which all his comrades agree with. Tom discourages such a tradition, and his lover puts them ahead of symbolism, in this case the arrival of spring.

During the service, Bill and Tom take care of a father and his daughter who have come to lunch. At the end of the meal, Billy offers the gentleman some lilies, a little reluctantly at first. As for Tom, he offers one of them to a young girl and goes on to talk about the symbolism of spring as a lover.

At the end of the service, Bill reads the words left by customers in the guest book. He noticed that the young woman he was serving liked Tom and left her phone number. When Ethan tries to reassure her about her feelings for Tom, Bill begins to panic and imagines that he wants to go somewhere else.

Later, at their dorm, Bill tells Tom about the note and number the girl left in the guest book. She thinks he might want to call her out for a drink. But Tom says he doesn’t care and admits he’s falling in love with Bill. A couple is kissing.
