For those who haven’t been following, Yellowjackets tells the story of a women’s soccer team, the sole survivors of a plane crash. Playing in two timelines, this Stephen King-fan thriller immerses us in the 90s, in the middle of this group of high school girls and their struggle to survive the long months lost, after the impact. This trauma affects their lives more than 20 years later, today.
On screen, we see Melanie Lynskey (Don’t Look Up), Christina Ricci (The Addams Family), Juliette Lewis (A Night In Hell), Tawny Cypress (Heroes) cast as adults, and their teenage versions are campy, respectively. Sophie Nellis (Le Prodige), Sammy Hanratt (Shameless), Sophie Thatcher (The Boba Fett Book), Jasmine Savoy Brown (Scream).
And that’s not all, because Ella Purnell (Bitter), Liv Hewson (Santa Clarita Diet) or even Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings) complete the poster of this absorbing series. And that the fans are happy because the third season is already in the works!
