The trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts features the Autobots and the Maximals against Unicron

If you’re a Transformers fan of a certain age, there’s one name in particular that’s sure to evoke feelings of wonder and awe: Unicron. No, not an unexpected variant of COVID, but one of the costumed robot franchise’s deadliest foes: a Galactus-like planet-eater who originally menaced the Autobots in the 1986 animated favorite. transformers: the movie. And while family favorites like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee return, the focus here is on the Maximals: animal-themed automatons, including Ron Perlman’s gorilla-like Optimus Primal (see what they’ve done there) and the Winged Airazor by Michelle Yeoh. They come in the mythology with a dire warning, and with Unicron lurking, there’s plenty to worry about. The Maximals are also looking to put their weight into the action stakes – that mid-battle follow-up success is pretty exciting to see.

On the human side, Ramos is joined by Dominique Fishback (who is already having a big year thanks to Prime Video’s satirical horror series). Swarm), with I believe II director Steven Caple Jr behind the camera this time. Joby Harold, who recently wrote in Obi-Wan Kenobi and contributed history homework for the flash.
