Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro – marking their 6th and 11th collaborations with Martin Scorsese respectively – Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons and Lily Gladstone, Killers of the Flower Moon is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The film, which allows Martin Scorsese to reunite two of his favorite actors, especially celebrates this last 30 years of reunion since their first project!

Flashback: Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro starred in Michael Keaton-Jones’ Secret Wounds in 1993, a drama about the relationship between a rebellious teenager in the 1950s and his abusive stepfather, a story based on a memoir by Professor Tobias Wolff.

Also inspired by real events, Flower Moon Assassins Reminiscent of the 1920s Oklahoma serial killings of members of the Osage community, which had become wealthy thanks to the oil beneath its lands – a series of brutal murders known today as the Reign of Terror.

As IGN reports, Martin Scorsese went to CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week to unveil the film’s as-yet-unreleased first trailer. However, Paramount Pictures has shared some stills from the film, as you can see below.

According to ScreenRant, who was able to attend the screening, the feature film – which runs no less than 3 hours and 26 minutes – will be a “love letter to gangster films”.

Killers of the Flower Moon will screen out-of-competition at the Cannes Film Festival next May before hitting theaters on October 18, 2023. The movie will then be available on Apple TV+.
