Christopher Robin will have a series for adults after the success of the gore film of Winnie the Pooh

An R-rated (Unaccompanied Children Under 17) comedy television series based on the popular AA Milne characters Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh has been announced and will be called ‘Christopher Robin’.

This ad follows the blockbuster Winnie the Pooh horror film ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’, which opened in the United States in early March and has gone viral on the internet.

‘Christopher Robin’ Will Be A Comedic Live-Action/Animation Hybrid On The Winnie The Pooh Stories But With A Darker Take, Reports deadline, and is being developed by Boat Rocker, Shamier Anderson, and Stephan James of Bay Mills Studios.

The series will be based on an original script by Charlie Kesslering (‘Most Likely To’). Kesslering will also executive produce the project. Meanwhile, Conrad Vernon (‘Shrek 2’) is set to direct the pilot episode and also serve as an executive producer.

Christopher Robin’s official synopsis describes the series as: “Christopher Robin is a disillusioned New Yorker who navigates his quarter-life crisis with the help of the strange talking animals who live beyond a drug-induced portal outside his abandoned apartment complex, the Hundred Acres”.

Meanwhile, ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ already has a sequel in the works, with a teaser poster uploaded to social media by the film’s creators. This is despite critics trashing the film upon its release. even joined for Rotten Tomatoes to its list of the 100 worst movies of all time.
