Mila Kunis sounds like part of Marvel’s Fantastic Four, but in the role you least expect

Not even Bradley Cooper as Rocket and Vin Diesel Groot come close to what Mila Kunis could do in Marvel’s Fantastic Four as The Thing.

The Fantastic Four will return to the big screen once more, this time as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This reboot requires a new cast, and the rumor mill has been full of speculation about who is playing who. Adam Driver as Mister Incredible and Jodie Comer as the Invisible Woman are just two of the names, while Mila Kunis has been linked to both the Invisible Woman and, bizarrely, The Thing.

However, Mila Kunis has pushed the rumors away quite directly. After appearing on James Corden’s ‘The Late Late Show,’ she explained that she went to lunch with the film’s director, Matt Shakman, and “the next day she was somehow in ‘Fantastic Four’…

Apparently, if you go to lunch with someone who is also in the industry, then they start working together, according to the Internet.

She joked that she does know who has been cast in the film, but she won’t be the one to reveal it. “I don’t want to get in trouble with (Disney) Mouse,” she said. “So none of you will find out.”

Jodie Comer herself admitted that she auditioned for the role of the Invisible Woman, but didn’t say anything beyond that.

Penn Badgley from ‘You’ is another actor linked to the reboot, and he also addressed the speculation, stating, “I neither confirm nor deny it. I don’t know what to say about it.”

A few weeks ago it was announced that there had been a big change behind the scenes: Josh Friedman from ‘Snowpiercer’ had taken over writing the script from Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.

Friedman is a sci-fi stalwart at the moment, having worked on ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,’ ‘Avatar: The Sense of Water,’ ‘Terminator: Dark Fate,’ and ‘War of the Worlds.’

‘The fantastic four’ of the MCU will arrive on February 14, 2025.
