SPOILER ALERT! This article reveals the elements of AKA’s ending.
In AKA, Alban Lenoir stars as Adam Franco, a special forces agent who infiltrates a criminal organization. This unusual mission forces him to become close to the leader of the gang, Victor Pastor (Eric Cantona), and to like his young son, Jonathan (Noé Chabat).
In the final sequence of the film, Adam Franco becomes the guardian of a child and his sister, Ellen (Lucilla Guillaume), who have been orphaned. The super soldier calmly disposes of the criminal Kruger in the back of the bus while the two young targets are a few feet away.
Inevitably, the continuation hypothesis is possible. It could follow the hero’s adventures and the consequences of his previous mission on Jonathan and Helen.
Nothing has been announced at this time, but AlloCiné did ask actor Alban Lenoir about the possibility: “Of course, there is a desire for me. After that it will depend on Morgan S. About Dalibert, the director and above all the success of the film.“
The good news: AKA is hugely popular, as is Lost Ball. The film went to number one on Netflix in France, but also in the United States! That’s not all, it’s also topped the podium in over 50 countries.
If Lost Ball was worthy of a sequel – a third installment is in the works – it’s highly likely that AKA will follow the same path. The case will follow.
