The first actions resulting from the Hollywood writers’ strike began to directly affect some productions in progress. Attempted negotiations between the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the studios have scheduled the closures to begin on May 1.
One of the first affected by the strikes was the “Cobra Kai” series, which is moving towards its final phase. The showrunner of the series, Jon Hurwitz, was keen to clarify that the interruption in production of the series is completely related to the strike.

“Cobra Kai” is only the first officially interested project. As there is no agreement between those involved in the strike and studio management, new announcements of affected films and franchises should be announced in the coming days.
