Teased a few weeks ago by Lucy and Karim’s translators, Laurie Pester’s return to Tomorrow Belongs to Us is finally becoming clearer. And the way in which the actor and singer discovers the filming of the TF1 series should surprise many!
In July 2017, Lori Pester, featured in the credits of the show’s very first episode, made the decision to leave Tomorrow Belongs Us after two years to focus on other projects and devote time to herself.
However, fans were surprised to see her return to the screen in February 2021 with a tense arc in which Lucy Salducci risked everything and became an outlaw to save Marc Very (Guillaume Fauré), the serial killer she fell in love with.
An intrigue that ends tragically after newlyweds Lucy and Mark are thrown off a cliff to escape from prison. It leaves doubt whether the character played by Laurie Pester will survive, given that the police only found Ver’s body.
Since then, Tomorrow fans have secretly hoped to see Lucy in Seth one day. And recent announcements by Laurie Pester and Sammy Gharb have us thinking that Laurie Pester is going to return to the series… as an evil twin or Lucy-like!
“Something’s going to happen. You’ll see! The door is open because Lucy’s body hasn’t been found.”In fact, a few weeks ago Lucia’s translator confided to Télé Loisirs. “There’s always plenty of opportunity. I can’t say more.”.
Although Sammy Gharb, on the other hand, was even more mysterious: “I don’t know if we can tell, but it might not be Lucy’s character at all. It might rub you the wrong way. You’ll see!”.
Lori Pester will direct the series Tomorrow belongs to us
Finally, Laurie Pester’s return to the screen in Tomorrow is not on the agenda at the moment, whether it’s as Lucy or portraying another character.
According to the information Entertainment televisionThe actor will actually go behind the camera to film episodes of TF1’s daily soap opera. A new hat for him to wear in the coming days or weeks as our colleagues confirm that he will be directing the next set of episodes.
Laurie Pester isn’t the first person from the Tomorrow We Own cast to step behind the camera. Previously, Dominique Guillot (Robin Belanger) and Alexandra Naum, the interpreter of the late Louise, also proved themselves as directors in the series.
