The three regions could still have heavy rain events this weekend
An atmospheric blockade situation continues to be observed this Saturday, keeping heavy clouds over Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. The two states continue to have frequent rain events and heavy rains. There is a risk of flooding.
A dry air mass affects most areas of the Southeast and Midwest by reducing air humidity, cloud cover, and rain conditions.
The areas of instability cause a lot of cloudiness and rain over the northern and northeastern states of Brazil.

Weather forecast for Brazil for 06/05/2023 – Saturday
South Region
The zones of instability on Rio Grande do Sul continue and the entire state has a Saturday with lots of cloud cover and rain throughout the day. It can rain heavily. In the extreme north of Rio Grande do Sul, in the west, center and south of Santa Catarina, there are sunny periods and the temperature is very high, but it rains again in the afternoon and at night. The Florianópolis region has sunshine and rain showers.
In the Itajaí Valley and throughout Paraná the sun prevails and it does not rain. Risk of fog at dawn in eastern Paraná and the Itajaí Valley.
The formation of an extratropical front and cyclone Sunday spread rain over much of the South.
Southeast region
Dry and hot air still affects the southeast region. Very sunny, warm and partly cloudy Saturday in practically the whole Region.
There is a possibility that it will rain in passing on the coast of Espírito Santo, but the sun is coming out. The cloudiness increases on the coast of São Paulo during the day, due to the passage of a cold front on the high seas, but it does not rain. Greater Sao Paulo may have fog at dawn.
On Sunday, the weather will remain stiff in the southeast
Midwest region
A dry air mass predominates over the Midwest. Almost the whole Region has another day with strong sunshine, few clouds and no conditions for rain. Saturday is dry and sunny in all Midwestern capitals.
Some showers with lightning occur in the afternoon and at night in the west, center and north of Mato Grosso, and it can rain heavily in some places near Pará and Amazonas.
Northeast Region
Areas of instability still affect the Northeast, but less strongly than in recent days. There are still conditions for rain showers on the coast and in the interior of all states, but with different periods of sunshine throughout the day. It is not expected to rain in the southwest and north-central of Bahia, in the center and east of Piauí, in the central-south of Ceará, in the sertão of Paraíba and Pernambuco.
Watch out for moderate to heavy rains and lightning risk in Maranhão. Rain showers occur at any time in northern, western and southern Piauí, northwest Bahia, northern and coastal Ceará, coastal Rio Grande do Norte, eastern Paraíba, Pernambuco and ‘Alagoas .
Northern region
Areas of instability affect the entire Northern Region and dense clouds continue to spread over all states. Rain showers and lightning are expected throughout the day in all states, especially in the afternoon and evening. There is a risk of heavy rain.

Watch out for moderate rains in the northwest, plateau and mountains of Rio Grande do Sul, in the mountains and south of Santa Catarina, on the coast of Alagoas, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará and Maranhão.
Beware of dry airwith air humidity levels between 21% and 30% in the west and north of São Paulo, west and northwest of Minas Gerais, in Goiás, in the Federal District, in the center, east and north of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the south and east of Mato Grosso, west of Bahia, in the São Francisco Valley (BA) and south of Tocantins.
