Marvel had to postpone the start of filming for Lama, one of the most anticipated films from the studio, due to the writers’ strike that began last week in Hollywood, California (USA). The feature film is the company’s first production to be affected by the outage.
Lama it has already faced several issues and changes since it was announced in 2019. The vampire movie had a hard time keeping a director and a screenwriter until it found Yann Demangev and Nic Pizzolatto for the positions. In the case of Pizzolatto, he will rewrite (after the strike) the story of the film based on a draft by Michael Starrbury, the previous screenwriter.
the first of Lama is slated for a Sept. 6, 2024 release, but it’s worth mentioning that production has been delayed at other times. The original launch was for November of this year.
